J'aime de Printemps

At long last warmer days are ahead of us and what better way to celebrate the end of winter than having pops of reds, lilacs and yellow in your garden! While the heavy rain in winter (and our lack of mowing) gave the grass in the backyard some waist-height, it also grew us some lovely blooms. I had fun taking a break from assignments and shooting these pictures:

I have a 'spring' in my step =)

Fresh flowers from the garden

The best surprise was finding a rose bush hiding in the corner behind the bougainvilleas

Tim did some mowing and he made a little path and clearing. I see many macaroon tea parties happening here <3

Tan boots: Markets in Paris.
They do make nice temporary vases don't they?

Child's play

Remember when we were young we'd take Mom's jewelry and play dress up? My Mom has this beautiful oriental wooden box and every time I opened it I was amazed. Having a penchant for shiny, pretty things, I constantly found myself lost amongst gold earrings and pearl necklaces. That's exactly how I felt like this morning. Although my accessories are just costume jewelry, it had the same feel when I arranged them in leather cases and in dainty pastel china.

Am madly in love with this pretty ash tray I bought from Basel.

Rainbow Dash had some fun too =)
